What happens next?


After a short chat on the phone arranging an appointment date and time we will meet for approx 1 hour at a time suitable for you. This initial meeting involves taking details about you and your background, and the reasons for seeking therapy at this time in your life.

There is plenty of parking availability outside my premises, which is situated in quiet residential area of Cardiff and close to several bus stops.

A usual session will last about 1 hour, taking place in a comfortable environment. The sessions take place over a time span that feels right and is affordable for you. All information given is treated in the strictest confidence and I abide by the code of ethics provided by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy which can be found on their web site – www.bacp.co.uk

Fees

My fees are £60 per session with some limited concessions for low paid workers and students – please contact me for more details.

Emergencies

In an emergency I will attempt to see you as soon as possible.
However where immediate help is required please contact

  1. Your GP who will provide an out of hours service as well appointments
  2. Attend your local Accident and Emergency Department
  3. Contact Samaritans on 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org
